We were in Portland a few days ago for my Uncle's surprise 60th birthday party and had a really fun day! The kids were without naps so I was worried, but they both did great! What a relief.
Zach playing catch. Nice action shot, huh?
Here's another one! As you can see, my aunt and uncle have a GORGEOUS yard! I would kill for such lushness in mine.
Abby decided to go exploring in the plants. She actually went over to that little moon face behind her and gave it a kiss. Pretty sweet kid I have. :)
Just some shots of her being her silly self.
My cousin has a house across the street from my aunt and uncle, and my uncle planted a huge, organic garden in her backyard. It was pretty amazing and we all had fun checking out his wonderful vegetables. Zach was eating handfuls of peas, beans, and even raw zucchini....he then said, "Look at me, I'm a veggie snarfer!" The pictures don't really do it justice I'm afraid. It really was amazing.
Oh, and the last picture is of my lovely hydrangea bouquet, compliments of my aunt. Thank you!

Wow! What a beautiful yard! I'm a little envious too! I love Abby's little pigtails. She looks like such a big girl. And I love that Zach is a veggie guy like his mommy! He needs to chat with my kiddos!
What a yard! I seriously couldn't believe my eyes when I saw all the green thick brush and beautiful flowers! Then I saw the garden and was like, WOW! You know me, I'm a bit jealous of that! And CUTE kids! Abby's adorable with pig tails!
I can't wait to have a place to plant a beautiful garden. And you are so lucky to have a bouqet of beautiful hydrangeas. I pass by a house on our walks that has a huge bush, and I always imagine me picking some of the bush and taking them home with me, but I resist!
