Zach is 3!

Yesterday, Sept. 16 was Zachary's 3rd birthday! We can hardly believe that our little guy is already such a big boy! We couldn't have asked for a more precious little boy to love though....he brings so much joy into our lives. Of course I could go on and on about how wonderful, smart, funny, sweet, and amazing he is, but I won't bore you all with all of that! (even though it's so true!) Instead just enjoy some of my favorite pictures of Zach (ok, A LOT!) through the years. Happy Birthday Zach!! We sure love you!

Wedding Time

My Uncle Dan got married on the 1st up in Lake Oswego, to a wonderful woman named Joy. They make the greatest couple, and we loved being there to share in their special day. Here they are during their first dance. Zachary, not to be outdone, entertained everyone with his dance moves as well. He told the guys in the band that he wanted to hear some "rock and roll." Too funny!

Here's Zach and Andy, getting dizzy. :)
When the band was packing up, they guitarist let Zach check out his guitar. I think I have a budding musician on my hands!
Abby, getting into the groove too, and very pretty in pink!

Going on a hike...

My mom and I decided to try hiking with the kids last week. We figured Zach was at an age where he could make it on his own now and probably actually enjoy himself too! And Abby would just have to be at our mercy in the Baby Bjorn. :) We went up the McKenzie River to Sahalie Falls and took the trail around to the back side of the waterfall. It was so beautiful! We found a nice little picnic spot by the water, and Zach had a grand time throwing rocks in the water and getting dirty. Such a boy! It was a fun day. Zach was quite the trooper and decided that hiking was pretty fun! Says he wants to go again. Abby was great too. She seemed quite fascinated by the river and enjoyed looking around at all of the new sights. Here are some pictures of our day.
