The Little Lawnmower Man

Zach was hard at work one morning last week getting all the bugs out of his new bubble lawnmower. He started mowing at about 6:30 a.m. and mowed until the morning dew soaked through his P.J.'s.

Sweetness

Abby hoding still for a photo during her first bath in the big tub. She shared the water with Zach, and both of them seemed to enjoy it.

Zach sporting his big boy underpants on Mother's Day. Five minutes after I took this picture we had a talk about why you can't pee in underpants. He says he understands, but I know better. Thank God he was in the kitchen on the hard floor and not on the carpet!

Zach was very proud to have helped plant the tomatoes on Mother's Day this year. He rode in the truck with me to get new dirt for planting. After telling the man who took our money "I need to drive your tractor" three times, the guy gave him some ice cream. The ice cream just wasn't the same, so while another man dumped a yard of dirt into the truck Zach cried and kept on about driving the tractor. After the tears had dried and the dirt was in place, I showed Zach how we plant the tomatoes. When the first plant was all set, he was already telling me how to do the second one..... Word for word, down to the little stake with the picture on it so we know what tomatoes are where. After Zach woke up from his nap, all he could talk about was his tomatoes. He ran to the back door and cried, "I need to see my tomatoes" We also planted cucumbers upon Zach's request.

Little Swimmer

Abby got her feet wet in the pool for the first time this past weekend at the Adobe Resort in Yachats, OR. Grandma Turay braved the heated indoor pool with the rest of us and dipped this little one in the drink. Abby didn't move around much, she held herself rather still but seemed to enjoy her first swim overall.

At The Beach

Zach stands awaiting the return of the water to throw in his handfull of rocks. He enjoyed the rock throwing, but the indoor pool at the Adobe was his favorite part of this family trip.
